On June 11, 2005 the first Orienteering competition was held at the camp. This event is targeted for youth 8 to 14 years of age. It was well organized, pleasing all 18 participants. Stephan Bergstrom, who is a four time Ontario Orienteering Champion and twice the Canadian Orienteering Champion, started the morning with instructions followed by a demonstration of orienteering activities. Then everyone participated in the orienteering competition followed by awards. |
